A Secret Society

Eating something delicious is one of life’s great joys. Time seems to disappear and each mouthful becomes something to savour.

Unfortunately for me, this often ends with a few drops of olive oil, avocado or whatever else I’ve been enjoying making their way onto my clothes.

I was running out of shirts that didn’t carry some reminder of a previously enjoyed meal, so I decided to stop fighting it. I chose one shirt to officially dedicate to cooking and eating, and it’s become my favourite shirt.

Every new stain adds to the collection, and each one becomes a memory of something delicious. Having a dedicated food shirt has made cooking and eating more enjoyable, so I’d like to invite you to do the same.

At the moment there are only two members. My dad and me, because he’s the only other person I know with the same problem. But I’m certain there are more of us out there. Your membership officially begins when your shirt gets its first stain.
